Bagan flourished from 10th to 13th Century AD.

It is one of the most famous archaeological sites in Asia. Dry and cool seasons extend from September to March. Dry and hot summer is from April to June and August there is a light shower with a little high humidity.

The city is pleasantly and beautiful situated on the eastern bank of majestic Ayeyarwaddy River and surrounded by blue hazy mountains.
